Bruno Faria
Recife (PE), born in 1981, lives and works in Recife.
His projects stem from investigations into specific contexts and are presented in various formats such as photography, installation, intervention, sculpture, publication, or other media. These works always begin with a conceptual operation addressing critical issues related to public space, architecture, and his perspective on the world, through historical research in archives and other places that may reveal suitable material for new uses, facilitated by the artist's practice. The past, present, and future are seen as subjects of research in his production.
The artist's works are included in important private and public collections, such as Itaú Cultural in São Paulo, the Museum of Art of Rio, and the Pinacoteca do Estado de São Paulo, among others.
