Alexandre Canonico

Pirassununga, Brasil 1974. Lives and works in London.

Alexandre Canonico graduated in Architecture and Urbanism at Faculdade de Belas Artes de Sao Paulo (1995-1999). His work is influenced by the principles of architectural language, producing drawings and sculptures characterized by experimental methods that highlight the transition between spatial representation and physical expression of the objects. Recent exhibitions include Drawing Biennal  (2015), aonde, solo show at Galeria Marilia Razuk (2015), St Moritz Art Masters (2012), in collaboration with Pedro Wirz, and Brutalidade Jardim (2013), at Galeria Marília Razuk.
