From August 13, Galeria Marilia Razuk presents the second solo show by Rodrigo de Castro, in which the artist presents a series of 20 works, including paintings and works on paper, mostly made in the last year.

In this series of works, the artist shows his geometric art that, through shapes, lines and colors, build developments of plans, expanding the meaning of constructive operation, disturbing the stability and silence that the viewer to see at first look, less reflected.


Rodrigo de Castro (1953 , Belo Horizonte) spent his childhood surrounded by canvases, paint, brushes and pencils, natural and stimulating environment for artistic production, precisely because he has a father as the great master Amilcar de Castro. Painting since the 80s, has been awarded in several Halls of art since that time, invited to join the Annual Program Exhibition Centro Cultural São Paulo in 1994, in addition to having participated in several group and solo exhibitions in Brazil.
